D. Loyde-Buckley Photography
My name is Darran Buckley; I am a Photographer and Artist living near Selby, North Yorkshire. I have studied Art & Design and Professional Photography and have had a great interest in image making and creating since an early age. I love the traditional photographic images and also have a passion for creating artistic interpretations of interests I have, things I see and places I visit.
Over the years I have undergone various projects for people which have included designing theatrical stage sets and props, art work used for promotional flyers and posters, designed the cover for a Landrover owners club magazine, interior design of a themed night club, tattoo designing, vehicle graphics and various logos for groups and clubs.
My specialist photographic work has sold worldwide and used in a variety of publications, advertising and corporate literature.
I started taking photos at an early age.

Cormorant shot puts photographer in top flight.
Mr Buckley's image - taken at Gatehouse of Fleet in Galloway in June - has won the summer round of Wild Scotland's photography competition.
Peter Cairns, the wildlife photographer who judged the competition, commented on how the picture "captures the light beautifully on the water" and "highlights the details of the bird's feathers".
